so tell me, during the first week of your diet how did you have the willpower to stick with it? I just LOVE food so much it's sooo hard for me to diet but I really want to lose a good 20 lbs.
Posted by: JenBen on June 25, 2003 10:17 AMI really don't have an answer as to how I did it. It wasn't as bad as quitting smoking was as far as feeling like I was going to crawl out of my skin. Maybe, having been through that experience, I'm more able to deal with cravings and the battle of wills with myself? I've also decided that I simply can't cheat for my own good, because if I do it once "for a good cause", I'll find other good causes and just end up ruining it. This weekend's going to be difficult because we're going to the ranch where a big steak on Saturday night is traditional. We'll see how I manage there!
