Up five pounds after the whole Aunt Flo debacle. I suppose it didn't help that we went out to something like 6 different restaurants and pigged out while the kids were out of town. Still, I'm down 10 pounds and that's A Good Thing.
30 minutes bike, 70 rpm, around 100-110 watts.
10 minutes treadmill, 3.3 mph.
10 minutes treadmill at 3.1 mph.
15 minutes bike at about 70 rpm.
It would have been more, but my foot hurts. =(
I didn't go to the gym today because I'm still really sore after Tuesday's debacle. I did leg strength training then and was so weak from the tummy bug that I had to lower my weights, and even then I almost passed out. Dunno if I'm going tomorrow, though I'd like to. If not, Saturday and Sunday both for sure.
Tonight's workout:
lower body - squats, extensions, curls
5 whole minutes on the treadmill for a grand total of .25 miles.
I feel like poo, got some tummy bug and only 5 hours of sleep last night, so I was lucky enough to venture out of the house today..
Down another .5 lbs. I fit into my first set of reference clothes!
45 minutes on the treadmill, between 3.1-3.4 mph.
20 minutes on the bike, averaging 75 rpms.
I'm starting to feel like the guy in Thinner. Somehow I've lost 2.5 lbs since yesterday, making a grand total of 13 lbs lost.

15 minutes treadmill at 3.2 mph.
15 minutes level 3 recumbent bike at 70 rpms.
Must get new non-bud type earphones and some of those spandex undershorts so you can't see my comosellama when I'm on the bike.
I'm so pissed off that my iPod didn't get here today. I wanted to load it up and head to the gym. I've been using the cheap little headphones that you can buy at the gym for $10, and they're plastic and they've already gotten bent up. I'd also rather not lug around all my CDs that I might possibly want to listen to while treadmilling.
Oh well, I'll play with it tomorrow, I guess.

33 minutes bike, 10-12 mph, just over 6 mi.
Last night I was very happily surprised to find that I had lost 9 lbs. We joined a gym on July 22nd, and I've been going in 3 times a week. I didn't weigh myself right before I started, but I've got a weight taken at the doctor a few months ago, and I'm going to use that as a starting point.
I haven't made any major changes in my diet, other than trying to control my portion size.
Hopefully this journal will act as an inspiration for me to keep losing and get in shape.
Last workout: Sunday. Lower body weight training plus 10 minutes exercise bike. It would have been more but for some reason I thought it was 7 pm instead of 6 pm, and I didn't want to miss Six Feet Under.
